Our head is Dr. Muhammed Hassan Al Eshaiker DMRD; FRCR (UK) Professor & HOD of Radiology at University of Baghdad Consultant Radiologist and HOD of Radiology at MDC. Dr Al Eshaiker has 41 years experience in Radio diagnosis. He was previously Professor of radiology at the Iraqi Board for Medical Specialisation Baghdad, Iraq as a Chairman of the Scientific Council of Radio-diagnosis.

The radiographer staff are well trained and both from Kurdistan and Pakistan.

The MDC is proudly offering new procedures in the Department of Radiology (which only we are performing in Kurdistan Region and rest of Iraq).

MRI Diffusion: To rule out early stroke.

MRI Pituitary: Dynamic sequence for micro pituitary adenoma.

MRI Brain for Trauma: To rule out micro bleed in hemo sequence.

MRI Brain Inner Ear: We are doing 3D sequence for inner ear to look nerves.

MRI Orbit: We are doing thin slice to see the optic nerve especially.

MRI Whole Spine: We are giving a whole spine image to diagnose gorse pathology in whole spine

MRI spine for congenital: We are doing special MPRs for scoliosis and kyphosis patients.

MRCP: We are doing MRCP with special technique in which stomach bowl to explore bile system.

MRI Breast: We are doing MRI Breast with injector with appropriate Protocol with mean curve.

MRI Knee Joint: We are doing the special sequences for meniscal tear.

MRA We do carotid angio without contrast.

CT –Angiograms: MDC perform all type of CT angiogram including Cerebral angio, Carotid angio, chest angio for aorta, chest angio for Pulmonary embolism and coractations, abdominal angio for aorta and renal arteries angio for upper and lower limbs

CT Abdomen multi phases: We are performing the universal protocols for live, pancreas and Kidneys.

3D, MPR and MIP: We are providing the proper MPRs, 3D and MIP images according to pathologies.

Long Studies in CT: We are performing the long studies in single run including chest

CT Pneumo colon: We are doing ct pneumo colon to r/o any pathology in large bowl.

Abdomen neck and brain in single go in single contrast injecting

General and special procedures

All fluoroscopy procedures.

We do all barium studies for upper and lower GI

We do I.V.U with appropriate techniques
